A beautiful chandelier used as a wind chime? I did something on a much smaller scale with shells, glass, branches, copper, adding a little whimsey to a Winterscape. Lived in Hawaii for 20 years, I combed the North Shore for beach glass, shells about 30 years ago, when they were still plentiful.

maryam, you need this in your guest house. i think it is bisque porcelain so i bet it looks super amazing in person. i like the super delicate material in the strong pointy spines. bravo! and , by the way, i enjoy YOUR site so much. i can't get over you picked up and went for it. i'm taking notes...

i too love the tableware chic - very clever design and would look too fab with a whole set lines up together. a little sculpture for your cupboard!

louise, send a picture! and how great to live in hawaii. my mother-in-law grew up in maine and had heaps of beach glass but we hardly ever find any these days. you are lucky to have a stash!

thanks for visiting jo!
